A childhood doodle that grew into my art universe
When I was 4, I was given my first diary.
In it, I drew a self-portrait of myself as a bunny.
At 19, I found myself returning to art. First I had no clear direction or personal style, but eventually I started searching for something deeper, so I looked back at my childhood drawings.
I wanted to reconnect with that unrefined version of myself, the one who created without self-criticism, pressure, or expectations.
That bunny portrait spoke to me the most. So I decided to bring it back to life by reimagining it through my grown-up eyes.
Mielu was born,
opening the path I had been searching for.
It soon became a defining presence, shaping both me + my creativity.
Alongside my childhood creations, I draw inspiration from my weird dreams, lingering thoughts, music, and this strange world around me.
Now, at 22 and based in Helsinki, I’m continuing to build this universe with the hope of turning my passion for art into a lifelong path.
